Given these challenges and importance, Government of Punjab placed an Order to Design and Develop a Solution to Listen to Social Media and News Agencies; conduct its Sentiment analysis through Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning algorithms to sense public perception, understand their needs and take appropriate corrective actions.

Sentify, our Digital Media and Social Media Listening and Sentiment analysis Tool was deployed to listen to all the News/Stories from various News Agencies and Social Media Networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. and conduct its Sentiment analysis. Sentify helped Government of Punjab to segment News and Posts into Positive, Negative or Neutral based on Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning Algorithms and also segment them into respective Department and District, City, Block and Village so as corrective action could be taken at appropriate level. Sentify also helped the Government to retrieve insights related to specific Government Scheme, Policy, Decision or Crisis.
