Overview

The intent of BillRight application is to download meter reading from the energy meter and to issue energy bills as per the meter readings recorded by the metering equipment in order to ensure an accurate energy bill is rendered to the consumer.

Configurable

Configurable for consumer indexing, meter reading, and bill distribution or spot billing activities

App Distribution

Enables meter readers to download and install the mobile app from the play store and submit a request to register them as a meter reader

Identity Management

Enables power distribution company to review the particulars of the meter reader to approve or disapprove such request and allocate one or more operation divisions entrusted to it

Access Management

Enables power distribution company to block and activate any meter reader, bill distributor, supervisor, or manager approved by it earlier

Allocation

Enables power distribution company to allocate/deallocate consumers to a meter reader for which Meter reading/spot billing activity is to be undertaken by him

Data Migration

Enables power distribution company to import input data for meter reading/spot billing activity at the onset of each bill group through a flat file as per format or through web services

Offline Data Storage

Enables meter reader to download the input data of the consumers allocated to it

Search Options

Enables meter reader to search consumers based on Account ID, Consumer No., Meter No., etc

Download Readings

Enables meter reader to record meter status and download instantaneous parameters from downloadable meters of various makes and types

Download Load Survey

Enables meter reader to download load survey and temper records from downloadable meters of various makes and types

Manual Reading

Enables meter reader to record Meter No., meter make, meter type, meter status, and meter reading for meters which are not downloadable and take photographs of meter display so as same could be made available for verification at a later stage

Upload Data

Enables automatic verification of the availability of Internet connectivity and sufficient bandwidth to upload meter reading to cloud servers or to store it in mobile handset so as same could be uploaded as and when the Internet is available

Online Billing

Enables automatic validation of meter readings taken by the meter reader as per logic provided by the power distribution company and generates energy bill as per tariff and regulations of the respective power regulator

Offline Billing

Enables generation of energy bills offline as per tariff orders and regulations wherever Internet connectivity is not available and upload such bills immediately upon the availability of Internet connectivity

Print Bills

Enables meter reader to print energy bill through Bluetooth thermal printer immediately upon its generation

GIS Enrichment

Uploads coordinates from which the meter reading was taken by the meter reader

Print QR Code

Enables meter reader/bill distributor to print the QR Code using a Bluetooth-based label printer

Bill Distribution

Enables bill distributor to scan the QR Code to retrieve the particulars of the consumer for verification of consumer address and confirm that the customer has acknowledged receipt of the bill

Progress Report

Enables meter readers/bill distributions to verify no. of meter readings taken, bills issued and bill distributed, and no. of readings pending with him
